The Start of Century
Four years subsequent to the Detective Conan: Clash of the Red and Black arc, the Black Organization has failed to make an appearance since the death of Akai Shuuichi, which leaves the FBI and CIA baffled. But hidden deep within Japan, the Black Organization still exists, committing crimes in which no actual deduction could be traced to them! Meanwhile, Conan and the others have continued to grow, solving cases throughout Japan, even though the crimes being committed have seemed to lessen. As they await the return of the Black Organization, things have been running rather smoothly even for those who were shrunken by the APTX-4869! But will it continue to run this smoothly? Also, will those shrunken by the chemical ever return back to normal? The truth can be discovered in On Dawn's Highway, a Detective Conan and Magic Kaitou RPG.

We’ve MOVED. Yeah, I kind of felt it necessary to move over to Invisionfree. Why? Well, I began to notice how much smoother it is than Proboards and all of the features you have. Top that off, we weren’t getting anyone here and it’s a whole lot harder to find people interested in Proboards. SO please join us at our new home! Those of you, who have come here to advertise, please post advertisements over there. I probably won’t keep track of the advertisements on here anymore. Oh, and members, please grab your applications and head over to the new boards. We HAVE modified the format to Invisionfree format, as well as added in a “title” form in the application.

The Rules
You must be fourteen in order to apply for this RPG. This makes the RPG at a PG-13 rating. Maturity is a must as well as this game is not intended for younger ages. When you register to the forum it is also a requirement that you register with your characters first name. Your display name must be of your characters first and last name. Names can be in any language you desire. Black Organization members must have a code name (based off of alcohol) and a real name. However, the codename of Black Organization members must be used for their display name. All canon Detective Conan characters must be four (4) years older than they were in the series.
Registering to the site in any other format will lead to your account being deleted automatically. You are welcome to re-register. You may play as many characters as you can handle, but to keep the ratio even we suggest that you play at least two male characters. You may only have two canon characters, however, they must be of a different allegiance. We do not accept Mary-Sue or Gary-Stu characters. Also, only Shin’ichi Kudou (Conan) and Haibara Ai (Sherry/Shiho) can be shrunken by the APTX-4869 at this time. We will reject any other characters that have been shrunken by the chemical until further notice.
No chat speak whatsoever. We are literate people and we want to see literate writing. This means that we do not want to see anything like u, 2, plz, etcetera on the forums. Write in complete sentences regardless of where you are posting. We also require correct spelling, punctuation and grammar. There is a spell checker on the forums here and it is strongly suggested that you use it!
What the staff says goes. This means that we do not want to see a member acting as if they are a staff and have full control of the game. Mind you, we are very lenient people. So please understand that if we ask you to change something that you change it. We also do not want any petty out of character drama on this site. Drama should be in character only!
Avatars must be approximately 100px in width and height and it is a requirement to have an avatar of your character when you first register. Signatures may not stretch the boards and are not a requirement to have. Both of these sets should be appropriate for all ages. We don’t want to see characters half naked, drinking, or wearing swimsuits. The avatar of your picture must be of an anime character. We do not accept fan arts of characters nor do we accept celebrity characters. Also, please no video game arts of characters. Remember to head to the face claim to claim your avatar. Understand that we do NOT accept face claim reservations here. This is a first come, first serve basis.
Character names should not be based on the face claim. Example; if you are applying for someone with the face claim from Fruits Basket, your character cannot be named after that Fruits Basket character in any form.
Fill out the application format completely. We’ve made it very simple and to the point. It should not take any longer than 30 minutes to fill out the application. When you fill it out submit it in the auditioning board. There should be no alternations within the application format (such as adding in fields, etc.). Make sure you read over our walkthrough for the application as well.
Posts should be a minimum of 150 words and should be done in third person. We do accept more and greatly encourage it! We do not accept god-moding or power-playing. We also do not want any sexual content on this site! We will go as far as allowing you to hug and kiss and taking off some clothes, however if it goes beyond that we don’t want it. Fade it black!
We do not accept character reservations here for canons. Our application format is far too simple to have reservations. However, if you truly must reserve a character, please contact Vicky (Haibara Ai) and we’ll talk.
When you go on vacation or are considering on leaving the game please post so in the leaves and away board. This is how we keep track of who is still here and who is not. We do schedule weekly activity checks to make sure everyone is still here, however if we delete you because you haven’t logged into your account after two weeks then it isn’t our problem. You are allowed to re-register, but it is strongly suggested that you post your leaves in the greetings and farewells board.
By joining On Dawn’s Highway you automatically agree that I have the right to rewrite the rules in anyway shape or form. It is also your responsibility to check back here from time to time to see if things have changed. You also agree that by joining you will be active. By not following the rules you also agree that at anytime your character may be taken from you, but a proper reason may or may not be given. You also agree to keep the standard level of maturity here and to not steal content from other websites let alone ours. And most importantly you agree to have fun. :) That is our number one rule here in On Dawn’s Highway!
